Adler Mannheim reinforce attack with Canadian Cramarossa

The Adler Mannheim have signed Canadian Joseph Cramarossa for the remainder of the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) season. The 30-year-old attacker most recently belonged to the NHL club Minnesota Wild, but mostly played for the Iowa Wild in the American Hockey League.

“Because of the many failures, we wanted to broaden our squad a little. Especially in attack, we were very thin recently,” said sports manager Jan-Axel Alavaara in a statement from the Adler. “Joseph brings a lot of energy to the ice. He plays hard, doesn’t shy away from tackles and goes where it hurts. But he’s also very technical and a good skater.” The newcomer is expected in Mannheim on Monday.
