The UK’s first fully immersive virtual reality location will open in Birmingham, England in 2021.
Imagine a virtual environment in which, in addition to being projected into a parallel reality, as already happens in many experiences of this type, you can have to do with even more realistic effects and animations, such as the possibility of grabbing objects from a plane or from a room. Well, now this is also possible, with the solution in 4D proposed by Atmos Vr, the company specializing in creating virtual reality attractions, announces the opening of a new office in the Digbeth area of the city of Birmingham, England, adding that there are eight other similar projects planned for other locations in the UK. A development that stems from the liquidity injection obtained by the company following the million pounds of investment to expand its credentials in the business sector.
The free interactive roaming game will provide services for a limited number of players, in a form of guaranteed social remote entertainment, through one-hour shows. 4d effects include moving floors and the ability to pick up and touch virtual objects in the game. Players will also be able to sense things around them and smell the atmosphere.
Company founder Kevin Blair, who has military and commercial experience in the field of virtual reality, spent three years perfecting the concept of this innovative gaming platform. “Atmos Vr aims to deliver creative content using the latest immersive technology, ever-evolving virtual reality and beyond, pushing the experiential boundaries of entertainment experiences, explains Blair.
Explaining that other locations will open in Tyne and Wear, Yorkshire, Merseyside, Glasgow, Cardiff and South East England over the next five years.
