Parker Schnabel has secured prospective prospecting claims in Alaska for $180,000, but initial testing in the northernmost US state has been unsuccessful. Is the mine boss looking in the wrong place? In order to become better acquainted with the conditions on site, the 27-year-old studies old maps together with the drilling expert Liam Ferguson and the landowner John Reeves. In the process, the men are discovering an area 20 miles from Fairbanks that could contain 15 times more precious metal than Parker’s claim on the Indian River.
