Police are on the trail of a 22-year-old accused of fatally shooting a man in a convenience store parking lot on Colonial Avenue in Waterbury, Connecticut, earlier this month.
According to authorities, Jordan Savage, 26, was dropped off at Waterbury Hospital around 11:00 a.m. on September 13 with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead just before officers arrived at the hospital.
Authorities found a crime scene in the Colonial Grocer parking lot on Colonial Avenue. Savage is believed to have been shot outside in the parking lot.
On Tuesday, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Gelson Cruz, 22, of Waterbury, in connection with the deadly shooting.
Cruz faces several charges including criminal use of a weapon. He was set on $2 million bail.
