HOUSTON – They were two years of suffering, a relative, in whom they supposedly trusted abused them.
Two Hispanic girls lived through hell until one day they found the courage to denounce the man who was taking advantage of them.
A 58-year-old Hispanic man was sentenced to 75 years in prison for continuously sexually abusing two minors in his family in Montgomery County.
Montgomery County is located 20 miles south of Houston.
Juan Aparicio also received another 50-year sentence for aggravated sexual assault in a trial that lasted only three days in this part of the Houston metropolitan area.
The victims, ages five and 11, were abused by Aparicio between 2014 and 2016, according to evidence presented in court.
The two minors denounced the crime committed by Aparicio in 2021.
“The man who sexually abused two minors, ages five and 11, needs to be in one place: jail,” said Montgomery County District Attorney Brett Ligon.
The two sentences will be fulfilled at the same time and he will not have the right to go free on bail.
