Ice hockey: Panthers defeated Dallas 3-1, Toronto lost

The Florida Panthers celebrated a 3-1 victory over the Dallas Stars in the North American professional ice hockey league NHL on Monday. With the Carolina Hurricanes losing 4-2 at home to Florida’s second club, Tampa Bay Lighning, the Panthers have moved to the top in the Central Division. In the North Division, the local leaders from Toronto had to bow 3-0 to the Calgary Flames at home.

In the West Division, the Vegas Golden Knights are at the top after a 3-0 win at Colorado Avalanche after a 3-0 home defeat by the St. Louis Blues to the LA Kings.
