This situation would be so because Kansas City finished 14-3, while Buffalo finished with 13-3, since the match against Cincinnati could not be held due to the problem with Damar Hamlin.
Therefore, the NFL defined that if the situation arises that the duel for the title of the american conference between Kansas City and Buffalo, the duel would be held at the Mercedes Benz-Stadium.
The home of the Atlanta Falcons was designated to be used if necessary. For now, the Chiefs have a bye week and the Bills will play at home against the Miami Dolphins.
