Doctor of Medical Sciences, doctor-immunologist, specialist in especially dangerous infections Vladislav Zhemchugov explained the decline in the detection of new cases of coronavirus in Russia.
He believes that a sharp jump in the number of infected will not occur, and the weather affects the decline in incidence.
“I really like the weather. If ventilation in public transport works well now, I don’t think there will be a significant increase,” Zhemchugov said to RIA Novosti.
He recalled the words of experts that low temperatures are destructive for the virus. Even the spread of the “British” strain will not affect the situation.
Recall that earlier forecasters said that Siberian frosts would come to central Russia, which had not been there for several years. Experts recommended to protect citizens’ health and stock up on warm clothes.
