Volunteers of the “People’s Front” continue to collect assistance for participants in a special military operation. In just three months, more than 15 tons of humanitarian cargo was sent.
The collection point for humanitarian aid to NWO participants is conveniently located in the largest shopping and entertainment complex in the Arbekovo microdistrict. Thick woolen socks were brought to Penza from Nikolsk. For a month, 16 couples were tied there with only good hands.
“Everything is needed! Specific lists are constantly changing due to the fact that queries are dynamic. We are constantly in touch with them, we constantly learn what is needed. Different departments, different places. Naturally, their tasks are different,” said the head of the humanitarian aid reception point as part of the “Everything for Victory!” campaign. Medicines, bandages, thermal underwear, food, personal hygiene products. In less than three months of operation of this point, 15 tons of humanitarian cargo was sent to the front, in each box of which there is the attention and love of fellow countrymen who have become relatives.
“Our teachers and students help. From the very beginning of the special military operation, headquarters have continued to operate on the basis of our university. We accept things, take them to the collection point, here. Therefore, they periodically bring us what we need,” said Ekaterina Morozova, head of the department for educational work with students at PSUAS.
For the first time, volunteers are packing special equipment – a batch of expensive quadrocopters, so needed by the fighters. Drones have become an integral part of military operations. Funds for this equipment were collected by the whole world – enterprises, public organizations, caring citizens.
“Now they need special technical refinement to equip them with power supplies, phones or tablets. And in the near future, I think, during this month they will be at the forefront, ”said Oleg Kuroyedov, head of the executive committee of the Popular Front in the Penza region.
Volunteer Andrey Polyakov arrived in Penza from Donetsk a couple of months ago. As well as here, he also did volunteer work there.
“They are pleased to see at the front that we have such a close-knit people, that they are such kind people, and they are really pleased to read letters, to see help, to see this kindness,” said Andrei Polyakov, a volunteer for the social and youth service.
Everyone can render all possible assistance to the mobilized. The reception center also accepts money transfers – for soldiers from Penza, who are expected to go home with victory.
