Indiana Café chose Lyzi to test payment in cryptocurrencies in a restaurant

The first 100% French mobile crypto payment solution thus announces a partnership with the Indiana Café restaurant chain. From July 1, customers of the Indiana Café Bercy Village (Paris 12th) will be able to use the LYZI application to pay their bill and this with 21 crypto-assets including bitcoin, ether, litcoin, avalanche, Yon, Tez. A first step before a global deployment for the entire network.

Restoration to Accelerate Cryptocurrency Payment Adoption

LYZI is a great app around Blockchain services, based on Tezos technology, a public and energy-efficient blockchain. The application includes a wallet for managing and buying/selling crypto-assets, a crypto payment functionality as well as loyalty and cashback offers.

While it is currently complex for a merchant or restaurateur to accept payments in cryptocurrencies given the volatility of the prices, LYZI responds to this problem by offering a reversion in local currency directly to the professional’s account free of charge, daily way. Thus, the customer indicates the amount in euros on the application and the equivalent in cryptocurrency is displayed on the screen generating a QR Code. The restaurateur only has to scan the QR Code to validate the transaction and be paid in euros.

Damien Patureaux, CEO of LYZI: “We are pursuing our objective of giving concrete access to cryptocurrencies to as many people as possible via a fun, interactive and reassuring application. Both Retail and catering are sectors that are part of French daily life and are tending to accelerate the adoption of this method of payment. Through these two test projects, we aim to demonstrate the simplicity of payment in crypto and allow these brands to capture new customers. »

Olivier Dutertre, Master franchisee of the Indiana Café brand: “By testing payment in cryptocurrency, we are offering an additional and fun service to our customers. This innovative approach with LYZI will allow us to expand our clientele, with an active community, very aware of trends, which will contribute to the dynamism of Indiana Café. »
