After a somewhat longer production, the shooting is closed indiana jones 5 now officially complete. This was announced by producer Frank Marshall on Twitter. Filming started in June last year. However, corona outbreaks and a shoulder injury to leading actor Harrison Ford caused some delays. However, it will be some time before the theatrical release itself. Disney currently has indiana jones 5 announced for June 2023.
Indiana Jones’ fifth screen adventure has had quite a long production history. Plans for another film began shortly after Disney bought Lucasfilm in 2012. However, production was repeatedly delayed.
Alongside Harrison Ford, in indiana jones 5 also starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renee Wilson and Toby Jones. However, there are no details about the content yet. Steven Spielberg is not the director for the first time, instead James Mangold is responsible for the implementation.
