We are to a certain extent used to that contestants appear periodically in talent shows imitating some of their leading artists with greater or lesser fortune. The last to perform this type of action has been Alex Jekyl, guitarist and singer of the Venezuelan hard rock band Jekyl Hides in the Peruvian television program ‘I am’ disguised as the vocalist Rob Halford (who recently claimed that he never wanted to leave Judas Priest).
Judging by the unanimous decision of the jury, Alex’s interpretation of the classic from Judas Priest “Breaking the Law” it was a resounding success. Don’t miss it!
The latest news from Birmingham’s natural heavy metal band has been the postponement of his European tour to 2022, holding a festival in summer 2021. The biggest musical shows are beginning to make a move for next year, such as Graspop Metal Meeting, whose managers have confirmed Judas Priest as the first headliner for your next edition.
Meanwhile, Judas continues to work on his next album. Rob has claimed to be very proud of the songs on this LP, which has come to be compared to the iconic ‘Painkiller’.
