The Kansas City Royals made the list of players invited to Spring Training official this Friday, January 13, 2023, which includes the good news for Cuban Dairon Blanco, who receives another opportunity from the team to sneak into the Opening Day roster.
The total number of players on the aforementioned list is 19, where 4 of them are outfielders, including Dairon Blanco, who currently plays with the Tigres del Licey in the Dominican Baseball League (LIDOM).

Dairon, it is worth remembering, made his debut in the Major Leagues in 2022 with Kansas City, a season where he was one of the 33 Cuban baseball players who saw action and set a participation record for players from the Island.
During the campaign he saw action in 5 games, with two hits and a stolen base at the highest level, while in Triple A he had an excellent offensive line of 301/367/486 (AVE/OBP/SLG), with 110 unstoppables, 14 of them home runs, 63 runs scored, 61 RBIs, and 45 steals in 52 attempts, in 107 games.
