Kentucky quarterback Will Lewis will enter the 2023 NFL draft, he announced on Wednesday. The senior quarterback has not yet decided if he will play in the Kentucky Bowl game this season.
The Madison, Connecticut native was being teased as a potential top quarterback ahead of the 2022 season. He stunned scouts and fans alike with 2,812 yards and 24 touchdowns, as well as 376 rushing yards and nine scores on the floor.
Levis has seen a drop in production compared to last year as he struggled with injuries and inconsistencies in the Wildcats’ offense. He had 2,406 passing yards, 19 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while making 65.4% of his attempted passes.
The QB began his college career at Penn State from 2018-2020.
Lewis is expected to be one of the most interesting passing prospects in next spring’s draft.
