Kraken, the most contagious coronavirus variant

Although almost three years have passed since that March 2020. The coronavirus continues to rage among the population. Thus, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned of the presence of the XBB.1.5 variant, known as “Kraken”, becoming the most dangerous of all those detected in the world. In addition, it has warned about the rapid spread of the virus.

Although much information about this new variant is still unknown, it is already present in Spain and work is underway to control it as soon as possible.

This variant of the virus is of North American origin and was first detected in Connecticut and New York. As a consequence, the number of hospitalized has risen. And it is that, Kraken stands out for the ease with which it has to access cells and transmit better.
