David Krejci will return to action with the Boston Bruins against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday (7 p.m. ET; CBC, SN360, NHLN, NESN), after missing three games with an upper-body injury.
The centerman was injured in a 5-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Oct. 27. He should play in the center of a line with the left winger Taylor Hall and the right winger To David Pastr.

“We have a lot of depth down the middle,” coach Jim Montgomery said. “And when you have depth in the middle, you usually have a good team. Now we are reaping the rewards. »
Krejci has eight points (two goals, six assists) in eight games this season with the Bruins, who are 10-1-0.
Charlie McAvoy participated in the Bruins’ morning practice, but he will not play. The defender is yet to play this season, having undergone shoulder surgery during the offseason.
“He hasn’t checked all the boxes in his rehab, so he’s not available yet,” Montgomery said.
The Guardian Jeremy Swaymanwho suffered a lower-body injury in a 6-5 overtime win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday, remains sidelined and is being assessed on a weekly basis, Montgomery said.
