All Kuwaiti ministers have resigned to the prime minister for disputes with Parliament: the affair


Today all the ministers of the Kuwait, just a month after the formation of the government. The causes seem to be attributed to disputes with parliament.

According to the local official agency, the deputy prime minister Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah he submitted the resignations of cabinet members to the prime minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah because of the “Current developments regarding the relationship between the National Assembly and government”.

Kuwait, Parliament’s accusation against the Prime Minister

Requests for resignation, in order to be approved, must be presented to the Emir Nawaf al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Kuwaiti is the only Gulf country with a fully elected parliament with broad powers and the ability to sack ministers.

The resignation comes following the announcement by thirty-eight parliamentarians of their support for a request for questioning by Prime Minister on charges of violating the Constitution with the formation of his government.
