Lil baby’s The Bigger Picture initiative is doing good deeds this holiday season. New reports say the rapper will use funds from record sales of his summer single “The Bigger Picture” to nonprofits and disadvantaged communities. In November, Lil Baby tweeted, “I got $ 1.5 million to donate from ‘Bigger Picture’ I want the money to go where it’s needed. And the artist has kept his promise as the city of Birmingham, Alabama, is about to receive a helping hand with a coat giveaway scheduled for Dec. 28.
Over 1,000 coats will be made available to children and adults from low-income families. Regarding the charity act, the Birmingham City Councilor commented: “I am so excited that rapper Lil Baby has chosen to support the communities in Birmingham District 9. With the critical impact of COVID-19 on our communities, I find it honorable that someone with their influence provides such an essential resource to our residents. He sets an amazing example for our young people. I want to thank him for his willingness to come to Birmingham and spread kindness in these unprecedented times. ”
