Tonight the preliminary competition for the 71st edition of Miss Universe is held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana.
There the 86 candidates for the crown parade in bathing suits and gala dresses while they are evaluated by a jury panel made up only of women.
The score that each participant obtains tonight will be added to the one they had in the interview with the jury that was held yesterday. Once the total of these three categories has been added, the ten semifinalists of this edition will be chosen, which will be kept secret until the final night, which will be next Saturday, January 14.
