Multivisionsshow
1 Min reading time
These are places of longing for many people suffering from wanderlust: Vancouver Island in Canada, the Rocky Mountains with Banff and Jasper Park, the Alaska-Canada Highway and the Yukon River. Georg Krumm has visited all those places, and he comes to Waltroper Yahoo with a slide show full of impressions from Canada and Alaska. The date for the live multivision show in panorama format is Tuesday, January 10, at 8 p.m. in Yahoo at Hochstrasse 50.
The idea for the slide show came up during a flight
The idea of creating a slide show about western Canada and Alaska came to Georg Krumm during a flight from Juneau, the capital of Alaska, to Anchorage in the south of the US state. “The view from 11,000 meters was over the almost cloudless coastal mountains in south-east Alaska. It took almost two hours over the icy mountains and glaciers, which flow down to the Pacific in mighty streams,” says the multimedia artist from Hückeswagen.
Krumm, who also has picture shows about Australia, the Way of St. James or China in his program, observed that Canada and Alaska are synonymous with size, freedom, unlimited possibilities and adventure. “Far away from crowded highways and stress. That’s how many people here see it, so it’s not surprising that more and more people from Germany head there every year to experience their own personal adventure,” writes Georg Krumm.
