Marco Rossi doesn’t really get going at Iowa Wild.
After his dream comeback with the AHL farm team last week, the Vorarlberger has now been waiting for a scorer point for three games. The 21-year-old was also without a trick against the Grand Rapids Griffins, losing 6-2 with Iowa.
The Wild are already 0:3 behind after the first two thirds – Johansson (3rd), Andreasson (22nd / PP) and L’Esperance (29th / PP) score for the Grand Rapids Griffins. Mermis (55th/PP) and Walker (48th) score for Iowa, but Kampfer (45th, 58th/EN) and L’Esperance (51st) let the hosts pull away again.
Rossi fires a total of three shots, none of which find their way into the goal. Shortly before the end of the game he also gets a two-minute penalty for tripping.
