Mega Millions jackpot tops $1 billion

(CNN) — The Mega Millions jackpot rose to more than $1 billion after Friday night’s drawing ended without a winner.

This is the fourth time in just over four years that the jackpot has exceeded $1 billion, Mega Millions said. in a statement on Friday.

Friday’s draw ended with the numbers 3, 20, 46, 59, 63 and the golden Mega Ball 13.

The jackpot is now estimated at $1.1 billion ($568.7 million in cash), according to the lottery. If someone wins that amount, it would be the third-biggest jackpot in Mega Millions history, he added.
