Miguel Cabrera reached the mark of Rod Carew

Venezuelan Miguel Cabrera hit his 3,053rd hit on Saturday night, equaling Panamanian Rod Carew.

The native of Maracay reached the mark of Carew – member number 27 of the Hall of Fame – on Saturday night when Detroit achieved another victory 6-3 against Arizona.

Venezuelan David Peralta also stood out for the same night where he hit his ninth home run of the 2022 Major League season.

Cabrera’s action was recorded in the top of the seventh inning. Now he is two hits away from Rickey Henderson.

It is a fact that Miguel Cabrera will continue giving what to talk about, the limits as an athlete do not exist for him, he has shown it in each performance.

Every time he prepares to bat he accelerates the heartbeat of millions of Venezuelans who follow in his footsteps, his name has become a mark that will be impossible to erase.
