Narrow win for Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild (24-14-4) celebrate a narrow 2-1 home win over the Arizona Coyotes (13-24-5) in the NHL.

In the middle third, Mats Zuccarello (30′) and Frederick Gaudreau (31′) scored the ultimately victorious double strike from Marco Rossi’s organization, Lawson Crouse (46′) only managed to score the goal.

Alex Ovechkin lost 3-1 at home to the Philadelphia Flyers (18-18-7) with his Washington Capitals (23-16-6), but he once again reached a milestone: His 30th goal of the season marks his 17th goal in the game. Season with at least 30 hits, which equals Mike Gartner’s NHL record.

The Colorado Avalanche (21-17-3) took on the Ottawa Senators (19-20-3) in a 7-0 home win that saw Miko Rantanen, Alex Newhook and Artturi Lehkonen all contribute braces.

Jared McCann treble-packed the Seattle Kraken (26-12-4) to an 8-5 win over the Chicago Blackhawks (11-26-4) for Seattle’s eighth straight win.
