NASA has awarded the Earth and Space Science Data Analysis-V (SESDA-V) contract to Adnet Systems of Bethesda, Maryland to provide Earth and Space Science research and development at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. agency in Greenbelt, Maryland.
This is a cost plus fixed fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a maximum value of 468 million dollars and a five-year order period that runs through April 1, 2028. This is a small business reserve contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.
The purpose of this contract is to provide a broad range of services to support Earth and space science research and development for Goddard’s Science and Exploration Directorate. Services include data operations, as well as activities in information systems technologies, engineering, scientific communication, education and public outreach, all of which help NASA to carry out successful scientific missions.
Adnet was founded in 1991 to provide information technology (IT) solutions to the NASA scientific community. Building on that success, they expanded their core capabilities into science and engineering, IT, education/public outreach, and training/professional support services, growing their federal client base to include the Department of Transportation, Department of Labor, Department of the Interior, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Army Corps of Engineers.
