The NEOM McLaren Formula E Team will be in action later in the year for the first time when official testing begins (December 13-16, 2022, Valencia, Spain) ahead of round one, the Mexico City E-Prix, on January 14, 2023.

NEOM McLaren Formula E Team Driver Jake Hughes
Above all, I am very proud and feel very privileged to be part of the McLaren Racing family, having the chance to represent such a prestigious brand. Growing up, McLaren was one of the teams that made me want to race. It’s amazing to come full circle and represent the team in Formula E myself. Obviously I’ve worked with the Formula E team before in another form and we’ve already had great results. It’s good to have this relationship and I know what is expected of me.
Coming to a time when a next-gen car is introduced to the series excites me. I feel like I have a good opportunity and a chance, especially being a rookie in Season 9. It’s going to be a great year and I can’t wait to kick off the journey ahead!
