New leads emerge, arrest made after remains found near Prescott – Telemundo Phoenix / Tucson

ARIZONA- The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is seeking more information in the case of human remains found dumped outside of Prescott in December.

Authorities arrested Walter Mitchell, 59, in connection with the case on December 29. Authorities reported that he was the owner of a business called Future GenX in Seattle dedicated to handling bodies for investigation. After the business closed, authorities detailed that Mitchell left Seattle with human remains belonging to five people.

The total cost of the search, not including man hours, was $ 304,500,

Investigators are now searching for a freezer that belonged to Mitchell. According to authorities, Mitchell sold the freezer in Chino Valley sometime between mid-November and December 19, 2020.

Teenagers made a ghoulish discovery while filming videos for TikTok.

The freezer is a 1970 to early 1980 model, top loading style, and colored yellow. Investigators reported that Mitchell advertised the freezer on Craigslist or a similar site with the sale of a home on Reeds Road in Chino Valley.
