Four changes see Lewis Travis, Barry Douglas, Jacob Davenport and Sam Gallagher returning to the squad

Tony Mowbray has made four side changes for this afternoon’s meeting with Birmingham City at St Andrew’s

There are returns to the squad for Barry Douglas, Jacob Davenport, Lewis Travis and Sam Gallagher

The quartet are replaced by Ryan Nyambe, Daniel Ayala, Joe Rothwell and Tom Trybull, the former couple not being named to the team

Travis wins his first minutes since his knee injury against Newcastle United in September and is sent straight back to the starting XI.

Gallagher is rewarded for his midweek goal with a starting berth against the team where he had a one-season loan in 2017-18

Douglas is back and looks ready to play in place of injured Nyambe

Today’s hosts make seven changes to the squad that were beaten at home by Derby County midweek, with Lukas Jutkiewicz and Jake Clarke-Salter returning to the squad.

Ivan Sunjic, who was sent off against the Rovers in the Cup game in St Andrew last season, also starts, as does Mikel San Jose, a man from Athletic Bilbao.
