TEMPE, Ariz. – Alex DeBrincat had a goal and an assist on Thursday, helping the Ottawa Senators win 5-3 over the Arizona Coyotes.
DeBrincat took part in Brady Tkachuk’s goal in the first period before scoring his 14th goal of the season in the middle period.
Derick Brassard and Mark Kastelic also beat Karel Vejmelka, who faced 46 shots.
Arizona native Kastelic made it 4-2 midway through the third period.
Artem Zub completed in an empty net, while Jake Sanderson had two assists.
Anton Forsberg had 27 saves for the Senators, who had lost their last two games.
Playing his third game with the Coyotes since playing heroes for Canada at the World Juniors, Dylan Guenther scored his fourth goal of the season in addition to being an accomplice to Lawson Crouse’s 15th.
Barrett Hayton also scored for the Coyotes, who lost for the seventh straight time.
