The city of Birmingham has paid tribute to one of its greatest artists ever, or rather, a city writer wanted to make a special birthday present for the Prince of Darkness.
According to the Birmingham Mail, artist Robbie Jeffcott spent 15 hours drawing a beautiful Ozzy mural on a brick wall of Birmingham’s Custard Factory.
When asked why he painted the Prince of Darkness, Jeffcott replied: “I really only paint people I admire. He is a living legend, probably the best known and most iconic musician to come from Birmingham. Having people walking past it and taking little snaps to tag me on Instagram, is good for me. I have received so many compliments“.
