Charles Brauer presented a hilarious text at the New Year’s reading of “Kultur Böckten” last Sunday. It was the actor’s 26th reading in Böckten, and once again it was a real treat.

A sea voyage is fun – but not only that. It can also be odd, absurd, and decadent, at least when it comes to the luxury cruise that David Foster Wallace describes in an essay. In front of the usual crowd, the Böckter actor Charles Brauer read a text by the American writer at the traditional New Year’s reading of “Kultur Böckten”, whose name was probably unknown to most of the audience.
