Angela Cole, girlfriend of Peyton Hillisannounced through his Instagram account that the former NFL player you no longer need a ventilator to breathe after risking her life to save her two children in an accident in rough water off Pensacola Beach, Florida.
“A hero. I am so proud of this man and thankful for the family and this amazing hospital. Peyton is no longer on a ventilator and is on the mendCole posted. “Please continue to pray for him as it is still a long way off, but thank you for all of his prayers, love and support so far. He really makes a difference. Today was a great day”.
Greg Hillis, Peyton’s uncle, previously indicated that the former Broncos, Browns, Chiefs and Giants he was in intensive care because he suffered kidney and lung damage after saving their children. The children did not suffer any injuries.
The former NFL player has been out of the limelight since retiring from the field. In accordance with IMDb, Hillis starred in the 2021 independent horror film The Hunting in which a detective must investigate the discovery of a mutilated body in the woods.

Hillis began his journey in the NFL after being drafted in the seventh round of the 2008 Draft by the Broncos after playing for the Arkansas Razorbacks at the college level. After a limited role in two seasons in Denver, the RB moved to Cleveland and had his best year as a pro with 1,654 yards and 13 touchdowns from the line of scrimmage. That earned him to be the cover of the Madden 11.
After another year with the Browns, Hillis spent the 2012 season with the Kansas City Chiefs. His NFL career ended after spending the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the New York Giants. He had 2,832 career yards with 23 rushing TDs and 1,050 yards with three passing touchdowns.
