Photos: Stunning satellite images of Hurricane Ian damage in Florida

This combination of images released on October 4, 2022 by Pleiades Neo, a group of four Earth-observing satellites, shows photos from April of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, before Hurricane Ian made landfall, and other October 2022, after his passage. The confirmed death toll from the weather phenomenon that hit the southeastern United States last week has risen to at least 100. Ian, one of the most powerful storms to hit this country, leveled entire neighborhoods and hit brought down power lines and bridges on Florida’s southwestern coast on September 28.
