This weekend, the queen of the Children’s Carnival 2023, Tahiana Rent Of Avilarepresents the traditions of Barranquilla and Colombia in the competition All Dance Internationalwhich brings together dance schools and dancers from 50 countries around the world.
On the first day of the tournament, together with his Julie de Donado dance schoolTahiana achieved two titles in first place: in the category of ethnic dances to the rhythm of mapalétogether with the Queen of Children 2022, Victoria Char Warnerand in the Jazz Open modalityalong with her dance partners.
“The Carnival of Barranquilla is Colombia in the world. What a joy to carry high the colors and culture of our country in this competition, where we are going to enjoy as it is. Dance teaches us a lot of discipline and allows us to stay active”, explained the sovereign, who has been part of the school for 8 years.
It is the third time that Tahiana has participated in this international competition, where she has previously obtained the first places for her dancing skills.
On this occasion, holding the title of sovereign in the Carnival of Barranquilla, she makes visible the rhythms that enhance our party as an opportunity to invite locals and visitors to the most important party in Colombia, especially its coronation on February 11 and its Children’s Carnival parade, on February 12.
This Saturday, at 8:00 in the morning, the sovereign will make a new presentation in tribute to the 25th anniversary of her father’s golden hit, Edgar Renteriawith salsa rhythm.
