Rimôn, PC opens a new office in Paris

Rimôn PC has announced the opening of its Paris office. Rimôn’s presence in Paris follows its expansion into four new international jurisdictions – Australia, Germany and Colombia – and the United Kingdom – and four new American jurisdictions – Texas, Idaho, Alabama and Oregon – in 2020. Olivia Lê Horovitz joins Rimôn as a founding partner.

Paris is the fifth European office of Rimôn PC, which is already established in Berlin, Moscow, Warsaw and, most recently, in London.

Olivia Lê Horovitz, lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions and private equity, joins Rimôn as founding partner of the Paris office. After spending several years as a partner at Kahn & Associés, she founded the Paris office of K&L Gates in 2008 and joined Simon Associés in 2018.

Olivia Lê Horovitz has extensive experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. She represents her clients in a variety of complex and multi-jurisdictional acquisition transactions, including acquisition or disposal of business assets, takeovers of ailing companies, spin-offs, recapitalizations, restructurings, joint ventures and complex commercial contracts. She regularly advises American, European, Israeli and Chinese companies wishing to invest in Europe in the context of private and public acquisitions, as well as French companies seeking to expand internationally. She also advises French and foreign investment funds and strategic investors in their financing and acquisition activities as well as private and public companies at all stages of their development.

Olivia Lê Horovitz advises clients both nationally and internationally on sensitive issues of governance and responsibility, including social and environmental responsibility (ESG). She also advises companies on European and French regulations in the growing cannabis and CBD industry.

The opening of the Paris office reflects the growth of Rimôn’s international team. In 2020, the firm was enriched with international partners: Andrew Reilly, Richard Ernest, Rodrigo Castillo Cottin, Katie Hyman, Mikhail Usubyan and Sarah (Xiaohua) Zhao, and Daria von Mensenkampff, counsel. Other partners are expected to join the firm in 2021.
