January 1st was already a few days ago. Nonetheless, it is worth looking back at a certain New Year’s greeting. Firstly because it comes from a true metal god: Judas Priest front man Rob Halford has spoken out from his home in Phoenix, Arizona. Partly because the 69-year-old presented himself in an extravagant outfit.
Rob Halford posted two photos of himself standing on his terrace in full leather gear including hat, walking stick and sunglasses (see below). The first picture may not seem particularly spectacular, but the second all the more. There the Briton shows his rear view. And as it should be for a really suggestive leather suit, these cutouts are the most valuable. In other words: Halford skillfully and stylishly flaunted his buttocks. But that’s not all: On closer inspection, it is noticeable that Rob has a tattoo on his right back.
Rob Halford writes jokingly: “Where does the stage go? Happy New Year maniacs! See you on tour. 🤘🏻😈🎤🔊💛 #heavymetal #ink #tattoo #new #year #goodvibes #show #live #music #tour #metal #community #picoftheday #style #fashion #art #love #family #friends #fans #one #world #peace #respect #all ” It’s logical that the view goes down well with the fans – around 87,000 people have already liked the photos. One of them is Judas Priest colleague Richie Faulkner, who comments: “Brothers! Next tour !! Less is more, haha ” To which Halford replied: “I’m turning 70 this year, brother. I don’t care about anything. “ So maybe the Judas Priest fans can look forward to these views on the concert tour for the 50th band anniversary. Let’s wait …
