Two people were shot in Brockton, Massachusetts police said Monday.
The victims, ages 26 and 20, are both from Fall River, according to the Brockton Police Department. They were shot at a gas station on North Main Street shortly after 1 p.m.
Both men were hospitalized, but police had no information on their conditions Monday night.
Police were seen investigating a car at a taped-up service station on Monday afternoon.
Ana Gomes, in charge of the gas station, told Telemundo Nueva Inglaterra that two men aboard a vehicle touched the glass of her workplace asking for help and telling her that they had been shot, “He started playing like crazy saying that he had been shot that someone had shot him and his friend and please call 911,” he said.
From the air, our Sky Ranger helicopter captured the magnitude of the scene at the Speedway gas station located at 261 North Main St. in Brockton, where police and ambulances arrived to treat two people shot.
“It causes panic to know that there were a lot of police, firefighters, ambulances and we only saw that he was taking out two people who were taking him out in the ambulance and there was another who also gathered other ambulances that we really did not know what was happening,” said Mónica Inostroza, a witness to the incident.
