What is legend and what is reality?
Isabel Fargo Cole was born in Illinois in 1973, grew up in New York and moved to Berlin in 1995, where she has lived ever since. She has been working as an author since 2005. Her debut novel “The Green Border”, in which she tells the story of an artist family in a GDR border town in the Harz Mountains, was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize in 2018. Her new book “The Gold Coast. An odyssey” leads to Alaska.
