The artistic gymnastics it is one of the sports hardest hit by the health emergency. The pandemic has canceled all international events in 2020 and the new year does not start in the best way, because the International Federation has announced the cancellation of some events of this first part of the season. A stage of the Specialty World Cup, in program a Cottbus (Germany) from 25 to 28 February, it will not go on stage regularly and will not be recovered. The same goes for the trampoline stage in Baku (Azerbaijan, February 13-14) and for some acrobatic and aerobics events.
At this point it is natural the concern in view of other events, in particular the various World Cup races. Think of the stage in Doha (Qatar) from 10 to 13 March, where Vanessa Ferrari e Lara Mori will compete for qualification for the Olympics. But we also think of the all-around World Cup between Stuttgart (March 20), Birmingham (March 27) and Tokyo (May 4) which will offer six five-circle passes (three for sex, Italy is in the running with women). The situation is far from rosy and the road to Tokyo 2021 is all uphill for Magnesium Powder, which has now stopped internationally for a year (with the exception of the pre-Christmas European Championships, in which the leading nations decided not to participate). We also take this opportunity to communicate that the first stage of the Italian Serie A will be staged on Saturday 6 March in Siena and not on Saturday 6 February, as originally intended.
