Sato unveils its two main liveries
Under a new multi-year deal, Digital Ally’s Shield Health Protection brand will serve as main sponsor for Takuma Sato in 5 races this season, starting with the Honda Indy Alabama Grand Prix on April 18 (Barber Motorsports Park ) and continuing with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on April 25, then the GMR Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 15, the Music City Grand Prix in Nashville on August 8 and finally the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach on September 26.
“Like everyone else, 2020 has created unprecedented challenges for our team,” RLL co-owner Mike Lanigan said of the Kansas-based sanitizer manufacturer.
“We were able to seek advice from our partner Digital Ally on how best to keep our team members as safe as possible, whether we are in the factory or in the paddock. The Shield health protection products and range associated products allow us to do this and we are proud to represent them in the race. “
For the other main sponsor of Takuma Sato, it is PeopleReady that he already had on his car when he triumphed in the 104th edition of the Indy 500. PeopleReady will be present on Sato’s n ° 30 Honda but also on the # 15 Honda of Graham Rahal, his teammate.
“What an incredible result for PeopleReady’s first foray as a main sponsor of a car at the Indy 500 in 2020,” added RLL co-owner Bobby Rahal. “It’s great to see them back as the main sponsor on the Takuma Honda to defend their victory over the Indy 500 on the world stage and continue to showcase them in our IndyCar season.”
