Teen killed in US mall shooting
A youth was killed in a gun attack in front of a shopping center in the US state of Indiana (symbolic image).

Indianapolis. A teenager has been killed in a gun attack outside a shopping center in Indiana. One man was injured and his condition was stable, police said. Before the shots were fired, a violent altercation apparently broke out in the Castleton Square Mall parking lot in Indianapolis, a police spokesman said.

A third adult is cooperating with investigators and is considered a “person of interest.” There is no longer a danger to the public, everyone involved is in custody, said the police spokesman. The incident happened on Tuesday evening.

In recent years, there have been incidents with firearms in the shopping center: in 2020, a man was shot there, he later died of his injuries. Shots were fired again in the mall in 2021, injuring a man.
