College football is exciting for many reasons. While this NCAA season is unlike any season we’ve seen before, watching future football stars represent their school and show off their talent is still top-notch entertainment.
Fans may not be able to support their teams from the stands, but college football is bound to be packed with many dazzling highlights and thrilling games, and you can expect the most from these top teams who are sure to put on a show every game:
1) Alabama Crimson Tide:
Alabama’s dominance over the SEC remains unwavering. With Nick Saban remaining at the helm and starting quarterback Mac Jones – who is touted the next Joe Burrow – resuming the offensive, the Crimson Tide shows no sign of slowing down.
At the moment, there don’t appear to be any immediate challengers in the Alabama central team, and it would likely take a perfect game of football before another team defeats the Crimson Tide.
2) Notre Dame Fighting Irish:
The Fighting Irish have managed to maintain their consistency thanks in large part to quarterback Ian Book’s decision to play in his final year of eligibility at Notre Dame. Of course, the Irish also have a strong core which includes seniors Robert Hainsey, Tommy Kraemer and Liam Eichenberg.
Coach Brian Kelly’s side are well on their way to qualifying for the playoffs, and the Fighting Irish have proven their place at the top of the food chain by methodically beating every team they play.
3) Clemson Tigers:
Travis Etienne and Trevor Lawrence returned to anchor Clemson’s attack, but the Tigers faced uncertainty as there were definitely some gaps to be filled. Luckily for Clemson, the youngsters on the team are showing enthusiasm and proving their talent.
Despite the loaded timetable that Clemson has, the team still managed to sit down with just one loss in their record, and once they get their eyes on the prize, the Tigers are sure to be a scary team to face.
4) Buckeyes from Ohio State:
While the Big Ten have almost failed to put the 2020 season on hold this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ohio State Buckeyes have remained focused and have been a threat since the Big Ten voted to continue the season.
With Justin Fields leading the attack and showing his potential as an NFL franchise quarterback, Ohio State is on track for the playoffs and it is not unlikely that they will finish with a perfect record, despite the lack of an important part of the team. because of COVID-19.

5) Texas A&M Aggies:
Texas A&M isn’t quite at the top of the best teams in college football, but if anything goes wrong, they are among the teams that could pose a threat in the playoffs.
The Aggies’ offense featured by QB Kellen Mond isn’t always consistent, but they can move the ball fluidly and score explosively once in the zone. Additionally, Texas have improved on the other side of the ball as well, allowing them to dominate the competition with a stifling defense.
6) Florida Gators:
Kyle Trask’s rise from relative obscurity to stardom has been one of Florida’s most exciting stories in recent years. The SEC no longer boasts of the star power it once had as a quarterback, leaving Trask at the top of the pack.
With coach Dan Mullen gaining more experience with the program, Florida’s unpredictable attack just needs to find consistency to solidify its position as a threat to the rest of the SEC.
7) Cougars BYU:
The Cougars’ defense may not be up to par with other teams, but BYU’s offense more than makes up for that. Head coach Kalani Sitake’s team boasts of a talented quarterback trio at Zach Wilson, Jaren Hall and Baylor Romney. Senior Matt Bushman on the tight end is also on track to break school records in his position.
8) Bearcats de Cincinnati:
Coach Luke Fickell’s Cincinnati team have just finished two straight 11-game seasons and have a chance to finish with an unbeaten record this year. The balanced approach of the deep and talented team should be enough for the team to return to the AAC Championship.
9) Wild cats of the northwest:
The Wildcats have a strong 6-1 record thanks to their lockdown defense. The veteran Northwestern linebackers and talented defensive line pose an imminent threat for offenses league-wide. A healthy Wildcats team has the ability to keep up with any team in the league.
10) Miami Hurricanes:
Miami may have lost some of its best players in the NFL Draft, such as Deejay Dallas and Shaquille Quarterman, but the Hurricanes still have a host of returning talent. Second-year coach Manny Diaz’s side just need to find consistency and they’ll be battling for the CCA Championships in no time.
