After Jussie Smollett’s conviction a few weeks ago, another actor has just had to deal with the police. This is Ezra Miller, actor known in particular for his role as Flash in the DC Comics films. The 29-year-old was in a bar in Hilo, a city in the Hawaiian archipelago, when he began to behave aggressively towards several customers.
“On Sunday, March 27, at 11:30 p.m., South Hilo patrol officers responded to a report of a disorderly patron at a bar on Silva Street“, said the police. “During their investigation, police determined that the man, later identified as Ezra Miller, became restless as bar patrons began singing karaoke.“
“Miller began shouting obscenities and at one point grabbed the microphone of a 23-year-old woman who was singing karaoke (disorderly conduct offence) and then lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts (offence harassment)“, added the police. “The bar owner repeatedly asked Miller to calm down, to no avail“.
The comedian, who appeared in the feature film Justice League for his role as Barry Allen (Flash) alongside Ben Affleck (Batman), was arrested by the police and then released after paying his $500 bail.
As a reminder, Ezra Miller must be the headliner of the next DC Comics film, Flash, which will be released in 2023 and which will retrace the youth of the fastest vigilante on the planet.
