The Georgia Bulldogs defeated TCU with a crushing score

Stetson Bennett threw two touchdown passes and rushed for two more touchdowns in the first half Georgia (1st) crushed 65-7 on Monday to TCU (3rd) to become the first team to win back-to-back college football championship titles in the playoff era.

Los Bulldogs (15-0) became the first team to repeat championships since Alabama won back-to-back titles a decade ago and left no doubt that they have replaced Crimson Tide Like the new bullies on the block.

TCU (13-2), which was the first “Cinderella” of the postseason era, never stood a chance against the monstrous Georgia. Unlike the semifinal against Michigan at the Fiesta Bowl, the Bulldogs they did not succumb to the magic of the Hypnotoad.

Georgia delivered a historic beating in the game to decide the national title and was reminiscent of Nebraska crushing Florida 38 in the 1996 Party BowlUSC beating Oklahoma 36 in the 2005 Orange Bowl and a 28-point win over Alabama for the Bowl Championship Series championship over Notre Dame in 2013.

But this one was worse.

Too talented. Too well trained. Two consecutive titles for the Bulldogs de Kirby Smart.

They became consecutive champions

No team had scored as many points in a national championship game, dating back to the early days of BCS in 1998.
