The Iowa caucuses, this Democratic “mess”

“Is Iowa a metaphor? A warning sign? These questions, the New York Times ask themselves after the Democratic caucuses organized in the Midwestern state, where the 2020 primaries kicked off. “In any case, it’s a mess”says the New York daily:

To engage the enthusiasm of as many Americans as possible and have the best chance of unseating President Trump, the Democratic Party needs consistent candidate selection, a system that inspires trust, a process which makes participants feel respected and heard.”
