Luis Nuñez Noriega, spokesperson for the Plan for the Economic Reactivation of Sonora, assured that it is important to highlight that despite the difficult situation due to the health contingency, in Sonora there is a commitment to continue with the work and give better results so that new investments arrive to the state.
“Every time a company starts operations in Sonora, especially due to the effects that this pandemic has had, it encourages the workforce of our State and its companies to continue working hard and to continue strengthening the bridges that link this entity with the States. United, consolidating the Sonora-Arizona Mega-region ”, he assured.
An example of this is the arrival of companies such as La-Z-Boy to Sonora, he considered, which should be a constant in order for there to be greater growth and economic recovery in the entity.
This company of American origin settled in San Luis Río Colorado, where 500 employees already work, for the furniture manufacturer that has a presence in more than 65 countries around the world.
“This is due to taking advantage of the positive conditions that our state has, such as the proximity to the United States border, the capacity of its human resources and the labor peace that exists in Sonora, which has helped us greatly to the attraction of foreign investment and together with it to the generation of better paid jobs ”, he pointed out.
The progress made in this area is due in the same way to the responsibility and work that many people, in addition to companies, have done to continue with the care, considered in order to work on economic recovery, an important advance thanks to those who have committed .
