The Charlotte Hornets sent Theo Maledon to the G-League, to Greensboro.

With already 35 matches under his belt, Theo Maledon (1.91 m, 21 years old) approached the maximum authorized for a player with a two-way contract. With the return of Dennis Smith Jr., the Charlotte Hornets have decided to send him to the G-League, to the Greensboro Swarm. He is preparing to face his compatriot Sekou Doumbouya, who plays for the Delaware team. The Normand knows this championship well for having played regularly with the Oklahoma City Blue during his two seasons at the Thunder.

Moved to Houston at the end of September, he had not been retained by the Rockets. In the aftermath, Charlotte hired him via a two-way contract. He was fully part of the Hornets rotation so far, turning 5.5 points on 40.8% shooting success (including 32.3% from 3-pointers), 2.4 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1 lost ball in 16 minutes in a poorly ranked team, however (worse NBA record with Houston; 10 wins and 29 losses).
