There is a tornado watch in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina

The National Oceanic Administration and atmospheric United States Department of Commerce (NOAA, by its acronym in English) through the National Meteorological Service of that country issued a Tornado watch in FloridaGeorgia and South Carolina for this day.

The authorities Americans detailed that the alert covers the north of Floridathe East and South of Georgiaas well as the South and Center of South Carolina and that it will be in effect at least until 2 pm Eastern time.

They added that the warning is addressed to more than four million people who live in that area where they are located. Tallahassee, Savannah y Columbia.

According to the official page of the Storm Prediction Center, A series of strong to severe thunderstorms, damaging gusts, and a couple of tornadoes are forecast, mainly in parts of Georgiathe panhandle of Florida and South Carolina.
