According to the United States authorities, Castro Callejas, 32, in his capacity as first sergeant of the United States Army, apparently sexually subjected a girl, in the state of Alaska, between 2013 and 2016. It also indicates that would be responsible for abusing a minor in the state of North Carolina, between 2014 and 2018.
Due to these facts, he was sent in October 2022 to a military base, from which he deserted to travel to Colombia and try to evade the judicial process that followed him.
