The Miss Universe organization revealed who will be in charge of the animation of the pageant that will be held next Saturday, January 14 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
They are the American Olivia Culpo, Miss Universe 2012, and Jeanni Mai Jenkins, television presenter in the United States. It is not the first time that Culpo has been in charge of conducting the famous contest, she also did it in 2022 together with Mario López.
While the former Miss Universe 2018, the Filipina, Catriona Gray and the North American entertainment reporter, Zuri Hall, will be in charge of behind-the-scenes comments.
The final night of the contest will be held on January 14 at 9 pm at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. There the current Queen Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor.
Puerto Rican representative Ashley Ann Cariño will fight in the aforementioned American city to bring the sixth Miss Universe crown to the island.
The last time Puerto Rico won this contest was in 2006 when Zuleyka Rivera was crowned in Los Angeles.
The island has also won the contest in 1970, 1985, 1993 and 2001. It has also managed to have several finalists and semifinalists.
